Tiny Timer Light Switch presented here is a simple transistorised electronic timer which drives a high efficiency white LED for a finite time out. This circuit is very useful for in-car reading etc. The circuit works on 12 volt dc supply. Fit the unit at a suitable location inside your car and power the circuit from the in-dash standard cigar lighter socket. The timer light switch is ultra simple, economic, straight forward and self explanatory.
Time relay with accuracy from 1 to 750 seconds.

Power: + , - Have protection against reverse supply voltage. Must be feeding permanently trough fuse 1A.
Direct 12V Output 0.15A - can carry powerful diode, or driving relay. If you use relay, need to be placed diode in parallel to the output, inverse wiring to the polarity.
Power supply - 12V DC
Time is adjusted by a trimmer.
The timer can be started by two ways - positive pulse or push button.
Must be soldered wires for Power supply, Output and activating 12V+ input
The timer come assembled, tested, just need to be soldered wires for in, out, activating.
If you need longer, or short delay range, can replace the black capacitor with big, or small value.
Principle of work:
When power is on, the relay wait for filing a positive 12V+ pulse form activating input. Once it is filed - timer is activated and keep that position, until end of set time.
By filing new pulse - cycle repeats.
If you need to start the timer with push button - must use one wire form activating 12V+ input and 12V+ from power supply and connect it to push button.
Device doesn't have plastic box, only plate, as it is seen on the picture.
